Our ghosts, haunting thoughts, anxieties, beliefs of inadequacy and unworthiness, doubts of the future…for the most part all of this is self-imposed; these are the realities we create in our lives. So if we have the power to create this reality with our negative thoughts, then we have the power to create an entirely different reality centered around more confident and secure thoughts and beliefs!
We all have times when we feel a little lethargic, can't focus our minds, or can barely keep our eyes open. So what can we do to snap out of it or at least give ourselves a healthy burst of energy (in the event a 15 minute disco nap is not possible) for long enough to accomplish something, be productive, and feel better?
It takes a lot of faith to allow things to unfold naturally and it's not always easy. I mean, we want what we want when we want it, and our brains have habitual thought patterns of their own (this is why we meditate, so we can reprogram the patterns), but it is essential to our well being that we train ourselves to live with a deep knowing that everything will work out for our highest good, even when it doesn’t look the way we thought it would.
